We stated from the parking lot at the junction of the road that goes up to Sierra Espuña with the Tajo-Segura Transfer Channel. Right at the door of the Regional Park of Sierra Espuña.
We rolled gently for 3 km along the banks of the Canal to Carmona where we started, with trails in Zetas, the climb to Sierra Espuña. Popularly it is also known as a thousand curves path, although part of it goes along the Water Path.
We arrive at Caño de Espuña. A Canal of about 25-30 centimeters and a length of 15 kilometers. At this point we enjoy the views of the Sierra de la Muela and Alhama de Murcia.
We change the slope towards the Espuña River Valley. First we go down, we cross the river and then we go up the river parallel, but always along paths, until we reach the Bermeja Fountain and its Refuge.
We continue going through the Molino Falls and go to the head of the Cabezo de la Mezquita, and we leave immediately to return to the paths that take us to the Forest House of the Fountain of the Rubeos.
We advance a few meters along the road and enter the track that leads to the Pico de la Garita and the Garita del Turullón, recently renovated and in an enclave of spectacular views.
We continue on trails again, enjoying them again and again. We pass near the Pico de la Moriana and the houses of the High Fountain. And we only have to continue going down and with the final zetas that return us to the Tajo-Segura Transfer Channel, where we have 1 km of relaxation to remember and comment on the 25 km of trails that we have finished doing.
