We started from the Castle of Villarejo de Salvanés and by track we go to the Chains and the Shoe where we pass the A-3 under a small underpass.
Then we start with the trails, but we realize that today was not the day to roll through this area. The frost of the night has dampened this clay soil and in the shaded areas the rolling became complicated. Even so, and with the hope … that it doesn’t come all day, we keep going.
We pass through the Cañada del Manchón and go down to the Vereda del Ojuelo crossing the Arroyo de la Veguilla and the M-317 highway entering the Urbanization of Valdeperales. At the end of it we rolled down the path of the Barranco de la Loba.
We continue along paths to the old Cañada Honda mine and go down the Cerro de la Valdezarra. We continue parallel to the Arroyo de Morata until we take the steep climb of the Camino de la Raya del Bosque.
When we arrive at the viewpoint of the Pichonas we can contemplate the town of Perales de Tajuña in the Tajuña River Valley. We descend towards him and we turn towards the Hermitage of San Isidro and we pass the A-3 below next to the Tajuña River.
Continue along the Peñuelas road until the junction of the M-228 that we take in the direction of Villarejo de Salvanés. Later we leave it to continue parallel to it and Arroyo Valdecañas.
When we reach the height of the Arroyo de Valdolavo we take it up. It is not a cycling terrain with what I recommend that you do not finish the route through this stream. Although it is not impossible to do and its throats are beautiful. In the end we leave from Cuesta de la Marquesa and Analejo. We rolled to the top of 796 meters above sea level, the highest point of the route, and then we went down to Villarejo de Salvanés.
As I told you before. The result has been a hard and heavy exit through the clay soil. But in spring or autumn it may be accurate.
But in the end you always remember the best and erase the worst … and for this the food helped us in the Restaurant La Tercia.
