We started from Vielha and more specifically from the car park where the exit to Pedals de Foc route, to face in which will be a long climb of 12 kilometers passing through the beautiful villages of Gausac, Casal and San Per.
The climb is all by track through the eth Sauvàs forest, the reward comes once crowns the high point of the exit to 1.803m where you can see the entire valley from end to end. Once the tiredness and the visual impact are replaced, a descent begins, but it is in principle very technical, if you have to be proactive since it has a considerable slope crossing eth Nere Forest. Half descent the descent if it becomes more technical until reach the Bòrda de Sabatèr, where after a short stretch of track it leaves us very close to the north mouth of the tunnel.
Again we face a track that makes us climb gently to gain height to face the GR-211-5, very fast and easy to make the trail less a stretch with many loose stones that coincidentally coincide with the steepest and most significant difference in this stretch . Once we leave the GR, we take a downhill section that will leave us in Vielha, where a well-deserved lunch awaits us and the end of the departure.
