We started from Bolnuevo Beach, on the Costa de Mazarrón. And we walk along its Paseo Marítimo, GR-92, to Las Gredas del Bolnuevo. The clay (greda) are mixed detritic rocks composed of components of different grain sizes. The air with sand and water, have modeled the curious profiles of these Gredas, shaping what has also been known as “The Enchanted City of Bolnuevo“. At this point of extraordinary beauty, we begin to enter the Sierra de las Moreras towards the Cabezo de los Pájaros of 321 meters above sea level.
The descent is made by sharing on some occasion the way up, until we reach the Puntabella Urbanization, which we cross it all along tracks until we leave by Piedra Mala and go down the Grúa, seeing its Grúa Bay and its Grúa Point.
Already along the coast we cross the Punta Ancha to the Punta Negra, seeing the Isla de la Cueva de Lobos in the background. We continue along Lobos Beach, cross the Rambla de Picacho.
And we return to the GR-92 at the Playa de Piedra Mala. Until arriving at Playa del Rincon crossing between Bolnuevo Erosions, along the GR-92 track.
And what better way to close the day than tasting the local products in Murcian el Rincon de Elías Restaurant.
