Willing to know the Parco dell’llAdamello. And more specifically the Lago della Vacca that we have been told is one of the most beautiful in the area.
To do this, we drive up the narrow Italian mountain roads to the Parking de Bazena in front of the Alpine Rifugio Carlo Tassara. And we start Trail Number 1 of the Alta Vía dell’Adamello, it is a hiking trail through the Adamello mountain range. Walking along the High Via dell’Adamello you will find remains of military settlements of the First World War: trenches, walls, caves and others.
The road allows, in an approximate period of one week, to walk in stages the journey on foot of almost 70 km from the Breno hostel, to the presence of the North face of the Adamello, to finish at the Edolo railway station (or vice versa ). All while staying out of contact with populations. In the high mountains and always in places of great naturalistic and environmental value, within the territory of Adamello Park and observing and enjoying completely different aspects from stage to stage.
We … who want to do it whole day someday. We must settle for doing its first stage, but in round trip format.
We begin the ascending walk following the signaling of the path number 1 and little by little we arrive at the Passo delle Terre Fredde of 2321 meters above sea level. Here the vision of the next valley is impressive! And in the background we can see the Cornone di Blumone of 2843 meters above sea level.
We continue along the perfectly marked path and without any technical difficulty and we arrive at Passo della Vacca of 2361 meters above sea level. A few meters later, he already gives us the picture of Lago della Vacca with the Rita Tita Refuge and the Cornone di Blumone in the background. Beautiful!
And since we were there. We did not want to miss living together with other Italian hikers, so we regain strength in the Tita Secchi Refuge eating a simple but delicious pasta.
The way back. We break the road except that at the exit of the refuge we go straight to Passo della Vacca along the path without walking, as we have done on the way, along the Vacca lake.
Sincerely. The return is the same as the first leg, but we do not cease to be surprised by the wonderful landscapes. And in fact we took almost more photos on the way back than on the way out.
It requires a route as a contact for the Path Number 1 of the Alta Vía dell’Adamello. … And if you can. Do not hesitate to make it whole! A week of disconnection of populations between high mountains and in the middle of nature.
