We start the route from the center of Manteigas and come out smoothly along the EN-338 road towards La Torre. And when it crosses the Zêzere River, we leave it turning left to take the path of the Grande Rota do Zêzere. We more or less follow it until we reach Sameiro where we no longer separate to climb the Azinheira skirt at 1,035 meters above sea level. And then we go down to cross the Zêzere River at the height of the town of Vale de Amoreira. Where we go up-down in its surroundings.
On the way down, we take the road in the direction of Manteigas and pedal along it to the Ski Park where we already go down to the path parallel to the Zêzere River and that takes us to Sameiro.
There we take the MTG PR11 – Rota do Sol Trail, which takes us to Manteigas. Our starting town.
