Morning for the Sauva Negra

Quiet morning after St. John’s Eve.

We descend from Castellcir along the track of Can Sans and see the old town of Sant Andreu de Castellcir and the farmhouses in the area: Can Sans, La Codina, Vileta and Nova de la Vileta, Cal Jaumet, Can Quirze (ruins), Can Gregori, that Antoja …

We go up by easy track first and stony then to the castle of La Popa de Castellcir that we leave on the left, we went up the other day, but we are only 200m.

We continue along a pleasant forest path on a negotiable ascent through the Solella del Castell to the Collet de la Rovira de Cerdans (rare because the Rovira is far away) from where we have good views towards the Pla de la Garga, Montseny, plain of Vic …

Now a steep climb to the Coll de Prims where we take a dizzying cemented descent but beware that we must leave on the left soon to take the beautiful path of mushrooms, and soon we will be surrounded by the magic of the Sauva Negra on the easy path that leads us to the Knight Well.

Return by track and last enterprising ascent, in full sun, by the cement towards Castellcir to put an end to the pilgrimage of 5 days that we have passed by the Moianès lodged in house Marta and Dani. Thank you so much for everything friends.
