We started the town of Herencia, Ciudad Real, in the direction of the Sierrecilla de la Horca and its windmills. We descend by paths to the Camino de Villarrubia to Alcázar and then turn to the Hermitage of San Cristóbal and the Sepulcher to go through the Mills of La Dehesa and El Aljibe. We also go down paths to the Sierra de las Tres Fuentes.
We pedal all along trails, passing by the Hermitage of San Isidro and continue on trails to cross the mountain range through the Navajo hill where you can see the antenna of television repeaters and the Navajo I. The climb is quite demanding and stony.
We go down to the half-dilapidated house of the Palmero and we turn by the way of the Bachilleras towards the Casa de la Solana where we take the paved and patched post that does not go up to the telephone repeaters of its summit.
The descent is by stony path to the Lane of the Cow, then the lane of the Veredas and the Caracierzo that returns us to Herencia.
Good route from Herencia that allows us to cross its two mountain ranges full of windmills and that surprises us by the amount of footpaths in the middle of Castilla La Mancha.
