Roldán Viewpoint, Fatares Beach, and Cristo de los Buzos

We start the route from the Tentegorra parking lot and climb up the trail that turns into a path and takes us to the Roldán Viewpoint. A special place with stunning views of the Mediterranean, from Cabo Tiñoso to the port of Cartagena and its Escombreras island.

We continue, now descending, along the path that leads us down to Fatares Beach, but before reaching it, we will stop at the Palomas Island viewpoint, and then we will arrive at Fatares Beach, which is the outlet to the sea of the Fatares Rambla.

After leaving the beach, we take the climb along the ridge that leads us up to the base of the Cristo de los Buzos, where the Fatares Rambla begins. Finally, we will ascend to the Cristo de los Buzos at 247 meters above sea level. The Cristo de los Buzos stands 1.60 meters tall, and its location not only offers an impressive view of the area but also symbolizes divine protection for sailors and workers of the sea, as Cartagena has a long naval and maritime tradition.
We then descend initially to continue along the coast on the path that leads to the Roldán Battery trail, which we follow until we reach the north face of the Roldán mountain, where we descend towards Tentegorra.
