This has been the second part of the training and recognition of the MTB Madrid – Segovia. The other day we did the first part, MTB Madrid-Cercedilla and today we made the second and final, MTB Cercedilla-Segovia.
This second part is significantly easier than the first but you should not fall into that error, because when we get to Cercedilla we will have our legs very exhausted and this easy part will be the most difficult.
We stared from Cercedilla on our way through the Archpriest of Hita where we take the maximum height of the route to start descending towards Segovia, but make no mistake. Let it be a total legbreaker descent. We are parallel to the AP-61 and always on the side of the Sierra de Guadarrama and when we arrive at the Puente Alta reservoir in the town of Revenga we have almost done it.
The arrival in Segovia is really beautiful and you can see how the aqueduct is born until you reach the square where it has the double arch.
Like the other time we have used the Cercanías service to return by train.
Good route in parts! … to see what happens when we make it whole!
