We start this route full of trails through the Regional Park of the Middle Course of Guadarrama.
We leave from the Urbanization of Las Cuestas and we start along the paths of the Arroyo de Rosquillo which today is precise and carries water. Later we turn to go up the Collada del Cerro del Burro until we reach the old Mina Pilar. Currently in disuse, but in 1886 it became the most important copper mine in the Community of Madrid.
We continue along the path of the pass until we reach Finca Los Quinchos where we arrive at the Cordel de la Espernada track along which we walk south until we reach the detour of the path of the Camino del Cerro del Madroñal that takes us to the top and the geodesic point of the Madroñal of 846 meters above sea level.
Then we continue along trails to the Camino del Pardillo to Colmenarejo track that takes us back to Arroyo del Rosquillo where we return to the starting point.
