Fisterra. Costa da Morte

We are going to visit Cabo de Fisterra but we are going to do it with a walk through this magical place where the sun disappears merging into the ocean.

The Costa da Morte is delimited between Cabo de Fisterra to Arteixo. This popular name was given to it because of its danger to sailors.

We start at the end of Playa de Lagostera and we go out to the right crossing the houses of the San Roque area and at the end of it we begin to walk between paths that little by little bring us closer to the open sea from where we can contemplate the Coast gives Death.

We reached the highest point of the route. The Monte Facho viewpoint, from where we can already see the Finisterre Cape. Then we continue to the next Solpor viewpoint, where the tourists who have gone up by car are already arriving. And already descending we arrive at the Finisterre Lighthouse.

We return quietly along the path parallel to the side of the road. Arriving at the end, we went down to the cove of Playa do Corveiro where we were received by a small blue shark and then we continued passing through the Castle of San Carlos, the Ribera Beach, the Lonxa de Fisterra and finally we reached the starting point of the route.
