Route from the Las Cuestas Urbanization through the confluence of the final part of the Aulencia River before it merges with the Guadarrama.
We descend towards Los Llanos de Villanueva and continue skirting Villanueva del Pardillo along the Los Palacios stream to take the Canal trail that leads us to Valdemorillo. We pass through two sliding gates, and at the exit, we have to get our feet wet to cross the Aulencia, as the bridge has been closed.
We continue on the trail, ascending towards Valdemorillo, and descend along the Carrizal Path towards Villanueva de la Cañada, which we bypass to the north side, exiting through the Dehesa Golf Club via the Camino de las Carreteras.
We turn onto the Pontón Path, crossing the Aulencia River again, this time over a wooden bridge, and continue along the Camino del Castillo, which takes us to Villafranca del Castillo – La Nona Chica.
We then continue along the Los Palacios stream trails, passing by the Hermitage of the Virgen del Soto, towards Villanueva del Pardillo, and from there to Las Cuestas, riding through the extension zone of the new road.
