This is a route in our getaway through Guipúzcoa. We start it from the town of Hondarribia, and we will start by following the GR 121 – Vuelta a Guipuzkoa. We are just going to start with stage 1 Hondarribia – Pasaia, but it is not complete because we are going to circulate it.
We go down to Hondarribia beach and pass through its port to go up to the Castillo de San Telmo and enter the GR 121 trail that takes us to the Higer Lighthouse.
We continue in the direction of the Camping and then we continue along the path that surrounds the coastline passing through the Artzuko Portu. Then we continue along the coast to Marla where we turn, leaving the GR121 trail, inland on the Jaizkibel-Ipar-Arkautz trail. We pass by the Justiz Golf and continue towards the Hermitage of Guadalupe at the top of Mount Jaizkíbel and from where we enjoy the views of Hondarribia.
We continue in the direction of the Via Crucis path that takes us down to the Hermitage of Santa Bárbara and from there we go down to Hondarribia, stopping first at the Errandonea Kantina Restaurant where we have some pinchos and some beers.
