We start the route at the Ax 3 Dimaines ski resort, a winter sports center located in the municipality of Ax-les-Thermes, Ariège department, in France. That during the summer it is open to hiking and mountain biking.
We go up the main track and then we get on the trails of the wooded area to go out to the green Sapins track, uphill and reach the Griole Bas.
Then we continue ascending the Boulevard de la Griole Haut, until we reach the crossroads to go directly to Chalet Le Louzat.
Then we cross the Plateau du Saquet, maximum elevation of the day 2,049 masl, by the Ronde des Marmottes until the descent of the downhill ski Trail Bonascre through which we walk to reach the other descent trail of Fontfrede by which we continue descending until we meet the track of Trois Jasses descent, which takes us back to our starting point. Nice mountain route through places that are always white in winter.
