With pedal friends we have made a route that explores a few Moianès secrets. We leave from Castellcir by pedaling on easy paths with very few points on foot. There is only one quite ugly stretch after Castellterçol, which will have to be avoided if you make the route in winter or with rain since it looks really muddy and humid. The climbs are almost feasible for trained cyclists and if they are too hard, as the climb before and after the Stern is only for a few meters.
A total of twenty-two trails, three strong forts and three or four very specific places where we have to get off the bike for a specific step.
Visit the Bauma with La Roca waterfall, Castellcir Bassa walkway, Popa Castle, Aljub, Coll, Beech forest and Font de la Sauva Negra, the funniest Flow trail in the area, blue and green pools del Soler, the natural stone bridge of Ca l’Escanyolit, the beech wood of the Thorn and its beech fountain, the stream of Sta Coloma, the Berengueres well that does not look like a well, secret trail of the Gorgs of the M. of God, Balma de Fontscalents, more Esplugues bunk and its bridge, source of the old Mill, (we passed without going down to the fountain, bauma and poua of La Vinyota), Vapor well, washing machine of El Roquer’s wool , Fuente de l’Àngel, Castellterçol, Canuto soccer field, Sant Antoni fountain, Sant Quirze stream (only ugly section of the route to be avoided in winter and in rainy weather), wooden dam de Cerverisses, aqueduct and Teuleria de Puigdomènec, the gorge (we do not climb there but there is the easy point to go there, we leave the well accessible area and the path of the foot of the Om s, the New Forest Mill and its waterfall, the Can Sants borriquet and the Molar coast path, Pla de la Ferradura.
Finally, a route of 10, which is highly recommended to have in the final list.
