We stared Colmenar del Arroyo in the North direction by the Camino del Prado until we reach the Canal de Isabel II canal, Picadas-Vallmayor, where we turn right until we reach the entrance to the Valle del Sol estate where the Bunker Blockhaus 13 is located. All a historical jewel of the Civil War in perfect condition!
We continue on the M532 to the Space Tracking Station of Fresnedillas-Navalagamella. Where we take the Camino de Puente de San Juan and its extension the Cordel de la Cruz Verde that take us to Peralejo. And from here to El Escorial we just got close and abandoned it for its Roman Bridge over the Aulencia River.
We return by the Way of the Land of the Mill and then the GR-10 in its section of the Collada del Camino del Chicharrón. That accompanies us skirting the Machota Baja to Zarzalejo Station.
We continue along the Camino del Canal del Cojo passing through the Dehesa de Fuentelámpara to reach Fresnedillas de la Oliva along the Camino de Vinateros. We continue along the Dehesa de Navalquejigo along the Camino de la Fuente del Abad where we turn off along a path towards Cerro Ramos to return to Colmenar del Arroyo via the Camino de Cabadales and the Camino de los Ramos.
Long per magnificent route leaving from Colmenar del Arroyo, going through the jewel of the Bunker Blockhaus 13 and arriving at the Escorial to return through Fresnedillas de la Oliva. It is easy to do and follow. He has no technical difficulty, beyond the distance. And that has everything. Track and a lot, a lot of trails.
And what better way to close it with a beer at Casa Mariano in the Plaza de Colmenar del Arroyo.
