We leave Castellcir looking for a selection of easy and cycle paths to visit the Molí del Bosc, its waterfall and the Castellcir stream, the Molí Vell and views without reaching the spectacular Mas del Bosc and its hermitage of the Virgin of the Conception, cliffs and castles.
We go up the beautiful path of La Marató to the Fabregar where we take the track first and then the path to the grade and the cliff where we suddenly see in front of us the spectacular castle of Sant Martí de Centelles.
Forest path again and we head towards another imposing farmhouse perched on the cliff overlooking the plain of Vic, Montseny, La Calma, Tagamanent …
A short stretch of track and we turn right along the path of L’Estalviada also known as Les Solanes, Les Codines or the more observant Els Fòssils that leads us to the Era del Coll of the Era d’en Coll.
Nice walk to the Castell de la Popa or Castellcir, extraordinary. The final climb is enterprising but well worth it. From the many trial and track options we have from here we choose the woodcut path that goes down straight zigzagging at the beginning and sticks down to the path of Cal Antoja to go up the paved track that leads us back to Castellcir.
