We start the route in front of the Agustín Marañón de Aranjuez Municipal Sports Center. And we left the town uphill along the Camino de Noblejas to continue along the Vereda de Ontígola. We pass through El Mirador and continue along the path until we reach Ontígola. We will leave the region of Las Vegas behind and we will arrive at this first town of Mesa de Ocaña, already in the province of Toledo.
We will continue along the Cordel de la Carrera and then take the detour of the track that takes us to Ocaña. We almost reach the municipal end, but we turn right towards La Aldehuela where the route changes to give us the first and long batch of beautiful trails.
The fun continues along paths through the pine forests parallel to the train track (Aranjuez-Cuenca-Valencia) to reach Ontígola again. Where we will turn to make the loop of the Cordel de La Carrera.
Later we will turn left to take a long line of trails that will take us to the Ruins of the uninhabited town of Oreja and its Castle of Oreja, also in ruins. It is listed as a Site of Cultural Interest. It is undoubtedly an enclave with many warlike and strategic histories since Muslim times.
We go down the paths of the southern slope of Castillo de Oreja and then take the detour of the M30 (not the Madrid ring road) that takes us back to the Cordel de la Carrera and where the last loop of the day will appear that allows us return to Aranjuez along the trails of Valdelascasas
