We enter the Anaga Rural Park going up and following the signs for PR – TF 12 Bajamar – Cruz del Carmen. And we continue ascending the small path where we can see two groups of hunters with their Canarian hounds. It is a native breed of the Canary Islands. Their collaboration with the hunters is proverbial and their life, behavior patterns and attitudes are closely related to the customs and ancestors of the islands.
We ascend without rest to the Roque Moquinal of 795 meters above sea level and continue on to the Juradero, which in addition to having views of the south face of Anaga, is where the detour to the Casa Fuset, also called Casa de Franco, is located, although it seems that there is no nothing true of it. On the other hand, it is also known as the Panic House because it is frequently linked to paranormal phenomena. But what if it is true that it is a building currently abandoned and partially in ruins.
Then we undo the way to the Juradero where we continue along the track until we reach the path PR – TF 12.2 Derivation to Pedro Álvarez through which we circulate for a while and then we turn off towards La Orilla, until we take the PR – TF 12.1 Derivation to Tegueste, which soon We will leave to go down La Orilla until we reach the hill that lets us see Tegueste and where we take the Local Path SL-TG-01 Camino de Las Peñuelas. And that goes down around the mountain, until we find the path PR – TF 12 at the height of Hoya Larga, where we had climbed and which would now return us to Bajamar.
