We did this route with the support and services of Camí de Cavalls 360º. That they have taken care of organizing the hotels for us, and transferring luggage from hotel to hotel. Quite a luxury.
We start it from the centre of Mahon and go down to the port by a pass on the GR223 Camí de Cavalls.
We will roll all the Camí de Cavalls, always leaving the sea on our right. In other words that is. Brick> Citadel> Brick. Therefore, we will go through the whole port of Maó to the end, Marina de Menorca, where we leave by the Me-3 road until we take the detour to Sa Mesquida. Where we begin to touch the coast with the Cala de Sa Mesquida.
We continue along the coast until we reach Cala Binillautí. Where we enter inland to the Platja del Grau. Always following the marks of the GR223. Cala Tamarells, Cala Rambles, Cala Cavaller, Cala Morella were waiting for us.
Then we enjoy the Morella Lagoon and turn off towards Cap de Favàritx from where we leave the Cf-21 road until we take the path to Cala de Caldès and re-enter inland to Ses Salines del Port d ‘Addaida. From there we go to the Arenal de Son Saura and Cala Blanca where we arrive at Ses Salines de Fornells. Our final stage destination.
Easy and fast stage.
