We started the route from the Hotel Apartamento Marouco where we have stayed and we will surely return for the excellent attention and kindness of Maria, the owner.
We enter the mountain through the area of the Salcidos Forest House on Monte Torroso and begin to climb following the indications for Ruta BTT do Soeste towards Alto de la Portela. With literally 4 posters … (as of today it is still a project).
First we cross the entire Cordillera do Toroso until we reach A Cruz da Portella. Where we cross the PO-3302 highway towards the O Rosal Parish area.
We pass through Alto de Olleiros and continue to the beginning of Ladeira de la Forcadiña until we reach Monte da Valga touching PO-3202 road, but without crossing it, to turn left to Alto do Castro and from there to TV repeater from Monte das Mariñas.
We continue along the rope passing Monte Bicaludo at 549 masl, Campo dos Corvos and Alto da Poza at 528 masl. to get to the last and the top of the day. The Campo do Couto of 553 masl. from where we begin to descend to the Cruz da Portela and return to our starting point through the same Monte Torroso but through a lower layer.
