We start the route from the Hotel Apartamento Marouco where we have stayed. We walk to the A Guarda Center and begin the climb to the Chans Recreation Area. Where we are the first marks of the Path PR-G 122.4. a variant of Camiño do Concheiro. Which immediately joins the main trail PR-G 122 Camiños do Trega.
The “Camiños do Trega” are a network of small paths that allow us to approach this impressive summit of the Ermita de Santa Trega, on the Miño river and the Atlantic Ocean.
At the junction of PR-G 122 and PR-G 122.5 Camiño do Carro e da Cruz do Home, we take the latter that does not go up to the base of the summit by wooden and stone stairs, right in the Parking lot.
Then we crowned Santa Tecla at 344 meters above sea level and visited the chapel of Santa Trega, and then went up to Alto do Facho at 331 meters above sea level.
And we already went down visiting the Castro de Santa Trega linking with the PR-G 122.2 Atallo Vello that leads us directly to A Guarda and from there to our starting point to go to the swimming pool.
