We started the route from the Hotel where we have stayed. Hotel Celta of A Guarda.
And we started climbing by road to the Santa Tecla mountain, visiting the remains of the Santa Tecla Castro. A Castreño-Roman town populated by Galaicos, related to the continental Celtas. From above we contemplate the views of the mouth of the Miño river and its Portuguese side. We quickly descend a path to the beach of Lamiña and go around the mountain towards A Guarda.
Then we start the ascent to Monte Torroso to descend and climb again to Alto de San Vicente. We crossed the Folón river and Da Cal river and down the Tamuxe river that carried a lot of water.
We played along the path for a long time at his side and passed through vineyard plantations in El Rosal.
We arrived at the mouth of the Tamuxe with the Miño and we already turned towards A Guarda. We went through the hotel, but we went directly to our favorite restaurant O Cangreixal.
A good route and with an unbeatable Galician finish!
