We start the route from the Roldán car park and we leave following the indications of the GR-92 until the first detour that indicates The Baterias de Roldán. It is a path with a steep climb that is made with the help of some strong zetas and that take us to the Roldán Batteries. It is a group of Anti-Aircraft Batteries built in the Defense Plan of 1926. It had a very active role during the Civil War (1936-39), and was finally deactivated in 1965.
They are worth visiting for the historical monument and for the impressive views from its top. Both from the coasts, as well as from the quarries and Cartagena.
From there we make a strong descent along a path towards the Collado del Mirador de Roldán. There we return to the GR-92 path that continues south along the coast.
When we reach the Puntal del Moco pass, we turn off the GR to climb it. It is a price point of view of the coast and especially Portús. Then we make our way and continue along the GR-92 to Las Escarihuelas, where we already separate from it and turn towards Cartagena along the track that takes us to Tentegorra and our starting point.
