We started from Arguineguín, south of Gran Canaria. Just from the bike shop Free Motion Bikecenter where we rent them. We start the route up the Urbanization of the Canaries I and that of the Canaries II and then along the track parallel to the Riera del del Canal de la Cueva de las Niñas, Arriving at the Mesa de las Vacas where the GC-1 Highway passes through under in the tunnels.
Upon arriving at La Junta de los Caminos. We turn left to go down paths parallel to the Barranquillo del Balito throughout the Loma of Puerto Rico towards Puerto Rico itself.
Down below, we arrive at the Finca del Balito and go back up the Guanasa to the Degollada de Balito, where we pass through an urban area of Puerto Rico and go back up the Loma de Puerto Rico down the western slope.
We face the long and steep climb of the hill to the Alto de las Toscas. From there we do a short descent along trails to Punta de los Cabritos, and then back up to the Tosquillas From this point it can be said that almost everything is down. First going through the Board of Roads and from there we take advantage of the trails parallel to the ascent track and at the end of the We go down the Barranquillo del Pino Seco, rising face of the Mesa de las Vacas. What’s happening to usunder the GC-1 by a small passage of the water groove and brings us closer to the Cornice of the Southwest and to the Urbanization of the Canaries I. And there at our beginning, the Free Motion Bikecenter store.
