We leave Valencia de Àneu pedaling until the Gerdar forest that is necessary to cross on foot, disassemble of the bike to protect the environment and the path.
We leave Valencia and we are going to look for the Son road that we leave very soon to take the Tremoledo trail to the plain of La Cabana Vella. At Km 6, the slope becomes smooth and becomes a pleasant walk through the woody and shady forest.
We reach the forest of La Mata or Gerdar where we must go on foot to protect the environment and the path, firstly flat and then in a steep descent, total just over a kilometer walking in a beautiful, magical setting at some moments crossing the Cabanes torrent for a timely wooden bridge.
We return for asphalt by doing a technical stop in the refuge of Gerdar and then a section of highway in rapid descent that we leave to visit Borda d’Espà and its dogs but noisy rodent. We return peacefully to the Coma de los Cofres and the bridge of La Molina on the River Bonaigua to Valencia d’Àneu, where this three-day pilgrimage ends taking advantage of the San Juan bridge.
