We started from La Herreria, San Lorenzo de El Escorial and more specifically from the junction of Golf Club and the way of the Chair of Felipe II.
We pedaled through the GR-10, permeating the Royal Club de Golf de la Herrería and we approached the Monastery of El Escorial to take the photo. We continue up the village towards the Romeral reservoir dam. Where we turn left to go to the Zetas de Abantos and then take us to the Port of Malagón.
Then we start the descent to the Romeral reservoir but we turn to the left, initially on foot, towards the Prado del Retamal.
Downhill we crossed, almost together the Arroyo del Hornillo and Majadahonda, to go up the Solana towards Robledondo.
From there to the Green Cross, we do it by paths parallel to the road. Then we went up to the forest monitoring post and without touching the Machotas we descended, in sections looking for a path, towards the Herrería again.
Good route full of trails through the western area of El Escorial.
