We start the route in Chinchón. Historical town in the south east of Madrid, whose prehistoric remains date from the Neolithic period, surely due to its special geographical condition in the fertile plain of Tajuña.
And what better start than to cross the Plaza Mayor de Chinchón! It is considered one of the most notable examples of Castilian arcaded squares. At the exit of the town we take the Camino del Portillo, to deviate along the Camino del Corral del Calvo and immediately start with the first and beautiful path of the Arroyo de Tenería and that of Valdezarza below. A good start that without a doubt is a sample of what it will be all day. Trails, trails and more trails.
Then we continue along the track towards Cerro de la Mirandilla, Matagrama and Cerro del Caballo where we start another long and precise path through the middle of Barrando de la Retamosa. Beautiful!
We go out to the fertile plain of Tajuña and go back into the Cuesta de Morata and the trails of the Cañada de Valdemolinos. We leave La Nava and cross the M-311 road to return to rolling on trails within the Arroyo de Valdelaspozas. Upon leaving, we rolled along the Camino de los Altos de Casasola passing by the Corral de Valdehorno and crossing the M-404 road. To roll again on trails near the Arroyo de Vallarroso. And from there we are already heading back towards the urbanization of Nuevo Chinchón and finally Chinchón, where we taste local food at Mesón Chinchón as the end of the route.
Beautiful for the Southeast Regional Park. Loop from Chinchon and with many long trails. Easy to do and very fast.
