Accompanying the Guadarrama River

We start our route from Las Cuestas and go down the Cordel Segoviano until we reach the Canal track crossing, where we turn right and then left until we reach the perimeter of Villanueva del Pardillo.
We exit through its sports facilities and ride along the Vereda de San Antón towards the Mona Chica Urbanization. We leave this area via the Camino de la Tejera to pass under the M-503 and continue along the Camino del Castillo a la Venta. Then we turn left onto the Camino de Brunete a la Venta until we cross the Aulencia River via a wooden bridge.

We turn left to take the Camino de Madrid and Camino de las Carretas, accompanying the Aulencia downstream until we pass it to take a photo as close as possible to the Aulencia Castle, right next to the European Space Astronomy Centre.

Then we go back to follow the Camino de la Vega parallel to the Guadarrama River, after the confluence with the Aulencia. We ride downstream until we pass under the M-513 bridge, the southernmost point of the route, where we turn to go upstream along the Guadarrama on the other side until we reach Mona Chica and Villafranca del Castillo.

We follow the paths of the Arroyo de Palacios, passing by the Fuente de los Manchegos and the Ermita de San Lucas.

Finally, we arrive at Las Cuestas, but we make a stop in Villanueva del Pardillo where we replenish our strength at D’Tapas.
