Valdemorillo – Felipe II Imperial Grassland

We started from Vademorillo with the intention of rolling smoothly and without a lot of unevenness accumulated by the imperial dehesas of Felipe II that served as home areas and that now can still be seen the cattle farming that a few years ago was the main source of work in this area.

We left for the Real Roads Pathway of Robledo de Chavela crossing the Arroyo de la Fuentevieja, until we reach the Prado Maroto where we make a great curve by the Cordeles of the San Juan Bridge and the Cordel de la Cruz Verde.

We arrive at the Collada de la Fuentevieja, and we do it at full speed along the beautiful path until the end crossing the M-600 road of El Escorial. We continue bordering the Parque de las Infantas Urbanization and at its exit we pass through the Ermita de Valmayor and we stretch to contemplate the Valmayor Swamp rolling along its shore along the Camino del Prado del Trampal and Los Vaqueros until crossing again, this time below, the M-600 passing through the Estanquilla towards the Camping de San Juan.

We went up to Pino Alto and went down the path of the Mine, arriving again at Valdemorillo. That we stretch the route undoing part of the way until closing it taking a beer.

Beautiful route through the hunting dehesas of Felipe II with a good company!
