We started from the Cercanías de Cercedilla train station. Perfect point to be able to return later from Segovia with the train.
It is 07:25 in the morning and we took the opportunity to walk with the front for an hour walking the trail and the marks of the PR M30. We passed by the Casa de Las Rozuelas and the day was getting up. We continue up behind the Sanatorio de la Fuenfría to the Puerto de la Fuenfría and its Roman Causeway.
From this point we started to accumulate descents by the Maing Minguete. We continue along the Cordel de Santillana crossing the wonderful Valsain Mountains. We stop at the Fuenfría or Fuente de la Reina and continue down its string to the dehesas where we started to see the Cathedral of Segovia.
Already in the flattest area we crossed the AVE tracks and little by little we entered Segovia to arrive, as it could not be otherwise, to photograph us with its imposing aqueduct.
We close the route at the train station of Regionales de Segovia, which takes us directly to Cercedilla.
It is a very easy route to do and follow with the only precaution of calculating the times well because it is long and it fits this with the train schedule.
