We start the route from the parking in the Bielsa camping area, next to the Parador de Bielsa.
We start with the track that between the small beech forest already leads us to the Balcony of Pineta.
Soon we turn off, following the indications, through a wooded area towards El Ferqueral, going up the Collada de Pineta.
In the Cantal we have already left the trees behind and our ascension is perfectly drawn. That little by little and through small zetas he gets us into the walls of the Funnel to let us pass to the impressive and magnificent Balcony of Pineta.
After contemplating the views of the Pineta Valley through which we have climbed, we continue stepping on one snowfield than another on the Plana de Marboré.
And we are nowhere in the Ibon de Marboré or Lake Pineta. That to make the climb already round. We decided to skirt it and climb the Tucarroya Gap where the Tocarroya refuge is located at 2,661 meters above sea level. This gap is a cut between the border peaks of France and Spain. Tucarroya Peak 2,818 masl and Pineta Peak 2,861 masl.
We make the descent through the same place, undoing and remembering the ascent.
The route requires quite a few hours about 8 on the move and has no technical difficulty beyond the corresponding physical and cardio preparation of a steep climb.
