Route that connects the Urbanizations of Molino de la Hoz and Las Cuestas, both located in the Regional Park of the Middle Course of Guadarrama.
We start the route in Molino de la Hoz and leave through the Molino de La Hoz dam. When we arrive at the Retamar Bridge, we take the path parallel to the Guadarrama river, downstream, marked with the number 15 “from Villanueva del Paradillo to the Retamar Bridge” of the PR CM Guadarrama, which will be exactly the path that we are going to do.
But first we have to cross the Guadarrama River, which always carries water, which forces us to take off our shoes. Then we go up to Cerro Martín and from there we can already see the Urbanization of Las Cuestas on the hillside. Then we arrive at Villanueva del Pardillo, where we take the path of the Canal de Isabel II conduction until we reach the small road, the Camino Real from Villanueva to Galapagar, known as Cordel Segoviano.
At Las Cuesta we turn to the right to start the turn, but this time we will do it in height along the slope of Monte de la Ventilla I. Then we cross the Arroyo de la Ventilla and the Arroyo de la Vinatea. Then we take the Camino de Las Viñas, to leave it later crossing the Arroyo de Cocho and then we go down the Cordel de Colmenarejo or the Camino Viejo, marked with the number 9 “from the Puente del Retamar to Colmenarejo and Galapagar” of the PR CM Guadarrama and that It takes us to the Puente del Retamar. But we do not cross it, returning to Molino de La Hoz by the old road, now cut off to traffic, and which takes us as we pass through the dam on its way back.
