SeaLight – Cadaqués-Cotlliure

On this occasion we have decided to make the track posted on the Sealight-Camí de la Llum but adding some trail instead of the track to Cap de Creus.

The route is to our liking for asphalt and even a section of dangerous road, it is necessary to avoid doing it in summer, because the shared stretch of the Camí de Ronda pass through the Port de la Selva is very busy with pedestrians and we would bother them with bikes.

There is no significant technical difficulty but it is difficult for the 70km and 1900m DA (2300m according to our GPS) of accumulated rise. And if you blow it up, I’ll not even tell you.

We leave from Cadaqués the 5 brave ones (Anna, Domènec, Dani, Jordi all with eBike and a server with an atmospheric bike) in a strong rise of 5Km + 300m beyond the Perafita hill. We improve the original track leaving the track GR92 towards an entertaining and friendly trail to the path of the farms. Where we will find the GR11 and go down to the Port de la Selva.

Attention to the route of Ronda very busy with good weather, not cyclable in summer.

S’Arenella lighthouse, spectacular coastline, Llançà, Cap Ras and looking for a path to avoid the dangerous road and end up pushing the bikes for a few meters. Colera, a couple of restaurants where you can eat well, and start an asphalt climb, Coll del Frare and Coll del Falcó, + 300m.
We go down to Ribera de Portbou and again up the uncomfortable hard track on zigzag that ends up smoothing, the Farella and Pic Joan, where the descent begins to Banyuls.

Landscape of vineyards, asphalt and more asphalt, more than debatable trails and Portvendres for the train station.

Already there are practically: Collision end of stage where we spend the night and rest in the face of the new route that awaits us the next day; In this case, it will mostly be inland
