Quick route through the Cuenca Alta del Guadarrama. Riding through the towns of Galapagar and Colmenarejo.
The effects of the heat are already being seen in the color of the mountain, but we enjoy it anyway. We leave Las Cuestas in the direction of Cerro Periquin and Cerro del Paredón with 841 meters above sea level. With which we now arrive at the Los Ranchos.
Urbanization. We continue to the Altos de Galapagar and from there we turn left towards the urbanizations of Galapagar and Colmenarejo to exit along the paths that take us to the Ermita de la Soledad.
We return along the Villamantilla road until we cross the M-510 at the height of the Vereda del Camino del Rey along which we pedal to the Collada del Milanillo that takes us to the Valmayor DWTP.
We continue along the Camino de Los Toconales and turn along the Vereda de la Nava playing along its parallel paths until we reach the Colada del Malanillo, which honestly is more downhill than uphill, and we continue along the Cerdados del Huerto track until we exit to the Cordel de la Espamada track that takes us to the Mirador de Madrid.
And now we return to Las Cestas along the Camino de los Toconales and the path of Cerro del Madroñal.
