We started from the town of Brihuega. Just the weekend of the Lavanda Festival 2018.
Soon we are stuck among fields of wheat to try to find a lost track, we just found, but it is long to have to cercle the perimeter of the cultivation areas. The path runs along the track until you reach the trail of the Ponzón creek.
We pass through the pretty town of Yela and we return to the fun trail of Hiruela.
We crossed the Tajuña River and later the Olmeda Creek. We climb to the plains of Alcarria where we see the impressive plantations, practically landscaped, of lavender.
We continue route to enjoy the longest and most beautiful trail. Named the hill of the vultures.
We go down to the town of Pajares where we cool off with the water at its source and then we went up, donw and up until arriving to the colorful streets of Brihuega.
Route very recommendable the month of July for the flowering of the Lavender.
